I showed up 20 minutes early for my appointment but Fernando whisked me right in and made me feel right at home. He asked me lots of questions throughout and gave me one of the best haircuts I've had in years. I will totally be back. I look like a million bucks.

In this salon, I got the wrong hairstyle that I originally wanted and they asked me to pay double the amount for another type of pigtails. The woman who worked on my pigtails clearly didn't know how to make them. Everything was dirty around, the hair clips were first lying on the floor, then they were attached to my head. It took me more than 5 hours and $140 to get my hair done. On the 2nd day, the hair began to fall out of the pigtails. On the 3rd day, one pigtail just fell off and fell off my head. Pigtails look very bad today. It's like they're already a month old, even though less than a week has passed since its creation.

Love this shop. Fernando is a gentleman with over 10 yrs of experience and he’s steady, precise, and checks in to make sure he’s giving you the cut you want. Highly recommend. Give him a call to make an appointment and you’ll be pleased with the results.

I absolutely love my hair!!! Rose did an amazing job. She was very patient, detailed and listened to exactly how I want my hair. The other stylist Marta even came to help her separate the braiding hair. Both ladies were very kind, and the shop atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. Great neighborhood, very clean inside, and great music. I will definitely come back and recommend.

Fernando is a great barber and a great guy! On my first visit, he checked how I felt about the length a couple of times during the cut to make sure I was happy with it and I was in and out quickly. He was easy to book an appointment with, a pleasure to talk to and he is definitely my new go-to barber. Get a great haircut at a price that is hard to beat in NYC and support a small, local-run business!
