Our son is a student in NYC and has been coming to the hair salon for a couple of years now and is so satisfied with the service, with having a positive and wonderful experience coming every time to have his cut down every month. Great barbershop. Fit me in immediately Sunday morning, got a great haircut in under 30mins, and was able to pay and tip with a card. They gave a hot neck shave and cleaned up my beard. No notes.

Great cut, good value-- especially for the Upper West Side, just a few doors down from NYC's historic The Dakota. Nice staff!

I’ve been coming to Barber Shop 72 for over a decade. Rosa has been cutting my hair for years and does an absolutely wonderful job. She’s incredibly talented and makes each time relaxing and enjoyable. I’d recommend the location and Rosa, especially, to get a great cut and be treated incredibly well.

Have had a lot of bad haircut experiences in the past — no more! Everyone is very nice and accommodating, even for someone who sometimes doesn’t know exactly what they want lol. I have curly hair on the longer side and they’re great with it. Always happy to give them my business and Rosa is especially great
