Missy Johnson is the best. She’s doing my hair for over 10 years!! Hair highlights, smudging, low lights cuts and even more now with my two girls growing up needing highlighting and perms/ body waves. Absolutely love her and she will work with a busy Mommas schedule!! Accommodating your schedule early or late!!

Ethnic hair is not their specialty. Although, I do appreciate the effort put into my daughter’s hair. Apparently, pressing African American hair fully straight without using chemicals isn’t very possible, but Mommy pressed it down with our usual course hair friendly oils when we got home and it looks much better. I usually do it myself, but I was just looking for a break. I would STRONGLY advise providing more products that more so support “Ethnic” hair. Also, when trimming course hair, it’s always best to do it after you have pressed the hair to see exactly where the trim is needed. Again, I do appreciate the effort and, despite my dissatisfaction, the service was still paid for along with a tip. <3

My daughter, Tiffany Whitten got this relationship started with Missy Johnson and I!! And I’m so glad she did! I’ve never once walked out without being completely satisfied with my cut and color and I always get lots of compliments on my hair. She’s acquired a lot of new clients from me and Tiffany 😁🩷😊 That makes me proud! I’m never hesitant to refer someone to her because she does it all and prefects each and every head she touches!! I have been going to Missy for over 20 years. She is an excellent stylist. Very attentive to what her clients want. The salon has the most relaxing atmosphere. Just had my hair done today and she nailed it as always.
