Beauty Life Hair Color Studio

This is my first negative review ever. I generally don’t give bad reviews because I feel bad and want to support small businesses. But I’ve been so depressed since my haircut here and want people to be aware so they could avoid my experience. Everyone has been laughing at my hair since the cut and calling it ugly. They cut my layers so uneven, choppy and way shorter than I had asked for (I had only wanted long layers). The haircut looks NOTHING like the reference picture I showed. The layers in the back are shorter than my shortest piece of curtain bangs if you wanted to know how bad it was. I think I would’ve done a better job myself even if I was blindfolded. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was truly disappointing. My visit to Beauty Life Hair Color Studio ended with my hair completely ruined. Instead of the color I asked for, I got something totally different — my highlights were damaged, and my hair became dry and brittle. On top of that, the staff was extremely unfriendly. No one explained what they were doing to my hair, and when I asked questions, they answered with clear irritation and no respect. I felt uncomfortable the entire time, as if I was bothering them just by being there. This kind of attitude and poor quality of work is completely unacceptable for a place that calls itself professional. Jun has been my hair stylist for years so I followed him to his new location. Because he's the only one to cut my hair, he's the one who really gets it. I trust his advice and appreciate his expertise. He takes the time to understand what exactly you want and how to best adapt it to your hair. He's quick, highly skilled and charges a fair price. The salon is clean and cozy. There's even a private area upstairs for customers who need to do work while their color sets in.

Jun has been cutting my hair for about 2 years now! He's very talented and has an artistic eye for haircuts/styling. Highly Recommend
