Belles Tresses African Braids

I called Aicha on 11-23-25 while traveling in town from Atlanta. On Monday 11-24-25 I was in the chair! Not wearing weave for some years I didn't know what to pick up. Aicha guided me through that process. Once I walked in the office and they saw how short my hair was I wondering if they would be able to catch my hair & THEY DID!! Ann and Marie tagged teamed my head and within hours I was out of there. Whenever I'm back in town and wanting braids I WILL be revisiting them. I'm very pleased with the outcome. THANK YOU!!

Nice ladies, however medium boho braids should not take 7 1/2 hrs so if you do come here be prepared to wait a long time. I spoke to a grandmother who brought her child in for straight back corn rows and she had been there for 5 hours. The shop is filthy as well.

UPDATE: A few hours after I posted this review, the owner called me to pressure me into deleting it. When I refused, they offered a "redo". I live over 30 miles away and wasn't about to waste more time or money to relive a miserable experience. Shortly after, I said I'd remove the review if they offered a partial refund and they stopped responding. Now they're pretending the issue was price and not that the braids were poor quality and the service was unprofessional. Their response just further proves my point. I'm keeping this review up PERMANENTLY so others can see how this salon actually treats its customers. ------ I asked for waist-length French curl braids with long curls left out, but they braided almost all the way down and ignored what I wanted. Very quick to respond when I was inquiring about an appointment but they also take walk-ins. Shop was clean and comfortable. Braids were done exactly how I wanted them to be and services was very quick. I've been looking for a good braider since moving to Virginia and even though I have to drive an hour I'll definitely be using them from now on.
