Bessi Hair Braiding

I was visiting my sister from Alaska and she recommended this place. I called a day before and she was able to fit me in. There were some staffing issues so my appointment got pushed back around 2 hours. When I arrived they were packed but I patiently waited. Both the owner and the employee apologized repeatedly for me waiting so long. It took 3.5 hours for them to do my hair and it came out great. It’s definitely worth the wait in my opinion. I got box braids and they have a flat rate of $180-$200. (Which is way cheaper than what I was paying in Alaska.)

I have never been so happy with my hair. Bessie had me in the chair and out so quickly. The salon is so clean and nice, the atmosphere was relaxing , and she is so friendly and professional. I have found my new salon that I will be making routine visits to. You can not go wrong making an appointment, no need to look elsewhere.

The first photo is a month after I got the braids and the second photo is the day I got them.! Ms. Bessie did a great job and was super fast, I was out of the salon in less than 5 hours. I get so many compliments and the hair has lasted a while and there are only small signs of age which is expected since I have 4c hair. I will be coming here again!

I was very disturbed and unhappy with my services. I had made an appointment a week and half in advance to get the Marley Twist. I had sent pictures of the exact hairstyle and asked for confirmation that they supplied the Marley hair, I was told through texting that they had the hair. Once at the place I showed the same pictures numerous times again, the braider used kinky hair and not Marley hair and I didn’t get what I specifically asked for. I spend absolutely too much money to keep getting styles that I don’t want, the twist are uneven, they look nothing like the pictures I sent and showed. I’m very disappointed and this will be my last time going to this shop. If I could give no stars I would.

Excellent service and talented braiders. My appointment started on time and lasted only three hours. The price was extremely affordable as well. Bessi made sure I left more than satisfied. Highly recommend!!
