Old school press & curl. Mrs. Betty is reliable and does wonderful work on curly/kinky hair types...mind you, she does not braid, but she does have other women in the salon that can. She has snacks in the salon and a lady that caters in soul food meals daily.
My Stylist Emily is the BEST at healthy hair! She doesn't much dab in weave... but staying healthy is her specialty!
Dave is a great barber. He makes you feel like family.
