5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing experience at Bladed Culture Barber Shop in Midtown Phoenix, right off 7th Street just south of Meadowbrook. Anthony, the owner, is the real deal. I accidentally scheduled and prepaid for the wrong day, and he still went out of his way to meet with me the very next day. Not only that, he stayed after hours to make sure my haircut was perfect for my engagement photos this weekend. He’s hands-on, answers the phone himself while working, and genuinely cares more about his clients and building his business than just making a quick dollar. In fact, he told me he would rather have an honest Google review than a tip for fixing my haircut a second time. That says everything about his character and the kind of barber shop he’s building. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a super welcoming owner Mr Anthony, great music with Nipsey Hussle playing on great stereo audio system, and a clean, modern space with awesome lighting and a cool minimalist vibe. I appreciated hearing the story of the new owner taking over recently—there’s real heart and pride in this place, and it shows how much he cares about the shop and his Barber. Huge thanks to Ms. Perla Arnold, who took me as a walk-in and delivered an incredible haircut and shave with real skill and care. I had a great experience at this barbershop. The shop itself is clean, welcoming, and has a really good atmosphere. Carlos did an amazing job with my haircut — he took his time, paid attention to detail, and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. You can tell he really cares about his craft and making sure clients leave looking sharp. Carlos is an amazing barber — super professional, detail-oriented, and consistent every single time. He really takes his time to make sure the cut is clean and exactly what you want. I’ve been to plenty of barbershops in the Valley and Bladed Culture is my favorite. Anthony is a great guy and really understands every one of his customers. From everything to the feel, the music choice, and conversation amount/topic, this place has a good thing going for them. Would recommend to my friends and family.
