Ms. Joy is an absolute delight. I received a Pedicure service and had a good selection of quality colors to choose from. Space is small so it's best for solo services. I was having a really bad day and Ms Joy was so kind and comforting. This will be my spa when I'm in DC.

Summary- It’s good for the price. This is basic place you go to for a cheap manicure where you can have a discussion about the history of admo. The good: Price, you can’t really beat a $20 manicure. Tip is preferred in cash. The manicure looks nice as well. I didn’t get polish so I can’t comment on that but I was pleased with cuticle care and nail shaping. Friendliness of staff. The staff is very friendly. There was communal chatter between them and the other patrons at the salon. This is a community place that has been here for a long time and has report with their clientele. Gentleness of manicure. I appreciated how gentle my technician was with my hands. I went to see Joy for a bikini wax, eyebrow wax, and regular pedicure. It was my first bikini wax so I was prepared for an awkward and painful experience. While it was obviously not delightful, I was so comfortable with Joy and she did an amazing job on both my eyebrows and my bikini line. She made me feel so at ease and had great conversation. She's hysterical and I genuinely liked her. I'll be lookin good for my date tomorrow. 8) And I'll definitely be going back!

Corona precautions are taken very seriously. She takes your temperature and you fill out a waiver. Everyone wears a mask and there is hand sanitizer and paper towel everywhere to avoid touching doorknobs. Also it’s a Great wax. Least painful I have experienced in DC and it is really quick.

Joy did such a great job with my first Brazilian!!! She was patient and kind, and even made conversation to keep my mind off of the pain. That's the true definition of customer service.
