Blo Blow Dry Bar Clifton Park

I recently had my hair done here at the Clifton park location. The store was very clean and so cute with the neon light accents, definitely a fun atmosphere. The seating at the booths and wash bowls were very size inclusive which I appreciate. My hair turned out well, it was what I asked for and the products smelled lovely. However, I feel the need to note that nearly my entire 30 min service was filled with my stylist trying to upsell me at every turn. My stylist (who I do believe is the manager of the store) was pleasant and as mentioned before my hair turned out well, but I do feel like she missed the mark on creating an experience worth returning for. As someone with beauty industry experience I completely understand the importance of building on to services from a business standpoint.

I love this Blo bar! Went for a styling when my son was getting married. I met Kaylena who did a wonderful style/ blow dry. She went completely opposite of how I style (per my request)and I could not have been happier! I returned to Blo today and joined the program that offers two blowouts per month for $90 - saving $10 per blowout! Many other perks included, too! (For this month you get a complimentary scalp massage and heated towel wrap after shampooing) I encouraged my friend to go too! Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed! I have been a very loyal client of Blo since they opened almost a year ago and every visit is amazing. No matter who my stylist of the day is, I can always expect to leave looking amazing! There is a menu of services available for the times that I go in not having an idea of what kind of style I want for that day. And I’m consistently blown away! Do yourself a favor and give this place a try! Highly recommend Kaylena or Chloe, who have been here since they opened. And don’t forget to add on the head massage. The extra $10 is worth it!!

I used to visit Blo locations in Boston over 10 years ago - I thought we would never get a concept like this in Clifton Park. You can imagine how excited I was to see we were getting one here. I enjoy having this as an option so close to home for events, "just because" and self care as a mom of two small children. I have seen a few of the stylists and am always pleased when I leave. However, Shea has to be my favorite!! She is so sweet, and does an amazing blow out that LASTS!!! Can't recommend this place enough!

To all stylist , Please be aware of Beauty parlor syndrome!!!!! Not at this venue. However. Would like to get the word out to all. My Mother had a stylist appointment on. June 14 2025 At a salon in Clifton Park NY. On. MONDAY June 16 I arrived at my home.. to witness my Mother with loss of peripheral vision in both eyes.. after a urgent call to her eye dr. I was advised. They thought this was an acute on set and a possible stroke. She was taking to. ALBANY MEDICAL CENTER She was diagnosed with a cervical disection. Which led to a bleed in her occipital brain. She was hospitalized for a week and then went to sunnyview rehab As. The occipital brain damage.. does not regenerate She has lost her peripheral vision for life... after reviewing. Salon schools and teachings/ H
