Blo-It-Out Lounge

I've given this place a chance a few times as I live close by and it was a convenient option location wise. Unfortunately, it's just not run professionally. Do not expect to be greeted here or to have your coat hung up etc - I felt like a burden two out of the three times I tried this salon. Some of the employees here are quite rude and unfriendly which is disappointing. While a few of the stylists are nice and do good work (which is why I am giving a 2/5), the salon itself is run poorly and there are better options - I would suggest Up&Out or Bond. I also hope that the good and capable stylists here find jobs elsewhere!

Really disappointed in the blowout I received. I asked for a bouncy, voluminous blow out and received the complete opposite. It looked just okay in the salon and then lasted not even the 2 minute walk home. I have fine hair and mentioned multiple times to my stylist that my hair requires a lot of product to make a blowout last. She hardly used any product and then only hair sprayed my hair for 0.5 seconds after she was done. You can tell that the tools are very old and need an upgrade. The blow dryer was hardly hot and I felt like my hair was still damp when she pinned it. Waste of money. I had to redo my hair when I got home.

I went to this salon for a blow-out on holiday and it turned out great. My hair looked amazing the whole day even though it was raining and windy. And even after 4 days my hair looked great. What amazed me the most was how fast everything went. Usually it takes a hairdresser up to 45 minutes to just blowdry my hair. But in here the whole service only lasted that long. Would definitely go again.

What an amazing local place for all your hair needs. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants top notch service, they will not disappoint.

Best haircuts & blowouts I’ve ever had in my life. Ask for Crystal or Deseree. They listen to instructions well. If you say 2 inches off, they won’t get scissor happy and chop more off. More importantly, they are FAST, CLEAN, KIND and chill. Women powered. I can’t say enough good things. Always happy with my results.
