I came here with my friend Sarah (red nails). We were walking around the upper east side and stumbled upon the nail salon. It was truly the worst gel manicure I’ve ever gotten. Sarah’s nails are pictured below after 5 days of the manicure. My nails in the pink look like this after just a week of having them. Two days after the manicure, my nails were chipping, and while getting my nails done the nail tech refused to cut my cuticles? She kept saying “later” but never ended up doing them, despite several times me asking to get my cuticles cut. My nails were also extremely uneven when filed. I asked if they take card when we first walked into the salon and they said yes. After we got our nails done, we were told we could only pay for our tips and cash and were told to deposit money from the A
Amazing service. Very neat, clean work. Tina is very accommodating & helpful each and every visit. I noticed she treats all the customers the same, no matter your race. Bloom Nails is my #1 salon to go to. When I discovered Bloom Nails I was living in Harlem, I would commute from Harlem to the Spa. When I moved to NJ, I traveled from Essex County just so Tina can work her magic on my nails. Now that I am living in the Bronx, I still travel to the upper east side so I can get my nails done professionally. Since Tina is the best she is always busy and appointments are recommended. My second choice nail technician would be Sandy. She is just as great.
Great experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is lovely and the service is top-notch. i got a manicure and pedicure done
$15 just to CUT and FILE. No cuticle, no polish. I went to have my acrylic nails removed, which was $20. After the service, the professional suggested that I needed to cut my nails because they were weak. I though she was going to treat them, as I mentioned I didn’t need polish. But she literally just cut and file my nails, and charged extra $35 for it - something that if I knew I would have done at home.
My daughter and I love to come to this salon! Best salon in the neighborhood…they never over clip my cuticles!!!💗
