Braiding Center

I had scheduled an appointment for 11 am and sat in the shop for one hour while the ladies took 2 other people before me and still had not taken me yet. I then took an uber to Nadine’s in Bowie! It is a 24 hour braid shop, they sit you and start your hair immediately. # no wait, the braiders are great and they are open late! Go to Nadine’s not Marley station

Fast service! Reasonable pricing. Love my 2 stand twists. Saw a girl getting beautiful Goddess Braids... Since my initial visit I have returned to the Braiding Center a few more times... hair turned out nice each time.

I went here to get bohemian braids to the back and cornrow to the front. I brought 3 bundles of human hair and stretched braids. The hairdresser took 8 hrs for a style that usually takes 6 hrs and she claimed to have used up all of the human hair only to leave her chair with the hair looking sparse. On each braided strand she only used 3 feed of curly hair. There is no way 3 bundles were used. Please do not go here!!! Save your money!!! They charged $225 for a botched job. This was my first and last time ever going to an African salon again.

The manager Patricia is very rude and not very helpful. Paid $185.00 for twist that have began to unraveled in 2 day. Will not accommodate with an appointment until 4 days from now to correct this mess, so I'm supposed to walk around looking crazy, with my money in her pockets.

I went to get small regular individuals. Rose did the first braids correctly and said this was how she would do the rest of my hair. She proceeds to do the back of my hair with very large parts. I don’t know if she was rushing or if this is the quality she usually provides. When I said something to her she caught an attitude and took the braids down very roughly. Didn’t wash the product out my head and was rude. Pictures do not lie!!! The back braids were basically cornrows. The owner agreed with her stylist when I said the back was too big. She said “that’s how it’s supposed to be” They are scamming. Keep in mind I said $250 braids. Smh
