I’ve been a customer here for a long time and this place has gone to Hell since the previous owner, Matt, left. Someone named Tina runs it now, and she’s an awful owner. More like running it into the ground. It’s become like an old-school Wonder Nails from the 90’s Mall. Dirty, rushed service (so staff can take naps), everyone complains and cuts corners, and the price changes every time you go- depending on who’s doing your nails. Worst yet, the staff (especially the owner and women on the left stations) talk trash the entire time about the customers in their own language! Matt would’ve never allowed this. Add the cherry on top, they begrudgingly accept your credit or debit cards as they push you to only pay with Venmo or cash. They almost get annoyed if you use a card. It’s terrible. As I

Please do not go here it’s not clean! I just wanna start out by saying that I go to cosmetology school and I’m very aware of proper sanitation. Contact dermatitis is a very real thing and you should all be aware of it. I went there yesterday hoping to get some gel X nails for my graduation. When I got there the lady was working on me and another girl at the same time. She told me to soak my fingers in this dirty bowl of water. Then she touched the tip of this mystery liquid to my actual nail. I’m not sure what liquid this is as the label was torn off, or how many other people she had touched the top to. Got a full set of acrylics and an eyebrow waxing here on 7/25. Nails were fine, but the eyebrow wax was a completely different story. The wax upon putting it on was extremely hot and all over my eyelids. After leaving my eyelids were extremely red, swollen & throbbing pain. Later in the day, the redness had only increased and the pain still unbearable. Upon waking up on 7/26, my eyelids have burns on them from this wax. Because of this, I NEVER will go back here to get my nails nor eyebrows done again. I paid for these services, and to walk out of what should’ve been a nice relaxing spa day has turned into have burn marks on my face. I've been going to Brighton Nail Spa for about a year now. I'm always able to get in right away. Treated nicely and I feel they do a great job. I get the acrylic nails and today had a pedicure with a great message from Julie. She does a great job!

AVOID this place! They nickel and dime like crazy! Their posted pricing is NOT what they charge you once the service is completed. In fact, I have never paid the same price twice-it’s different every 2 weeks! Final straw-our teen son took his girlfriend to get her nails done and they asked him-IN FRONT OF HER AND ALL OF THE CUSTOMERS-how much money he had in his bank account?! WHAT?!!! How dare them! I’m sure it was to rip him off but we are filing a complaint against this business. This is unacceptable. They aren’t even a good nail salon. WAY overpriced.
