My experience from this salon is always the best experience I ever have in New York City, Paris, or Miami. Raluca is unbelievable in her knowledge of hair, color, and technique, along with ability to cater to different hair textures (I have super fine and straight hair). Every single time I “cheat” and try a different salon closer to me (I live in Miami) or try to go off a friends recommendation in Manhattan, I am faced with a rude awakening and a beautiful reminder of the undeniable talent that this woman has. Raluca, you truly are the reason why blondes have more fun (because she just gets it RIGHT each time!!).

I had the pleasure of visiting this salon to have my highlights removed, and Raul did an absolutely outstanding job. He completely transformed my hair from looking dull and overprocessed to elegant, sophisticated, and full of life. The rich brown shade he created looks luxurious, natural, and incredibly healthy. Raul took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and delivered beyond my expectations. His attention to detail, professionalism, and artistry truly set him apart. I've been going to Butterfly for years because it's simply the very best salon I've ever been to in my life — this is where you get the kind of cut that makes people stop you on the street to ask who did it! My hair is super hard to cut & style — chin-length, thin, with a slight, fairly irregular wave that's hard to tame — and Kattia and Angie at Butterfly are the only stylists who've EVER known how to give me a great, incredibly chic looking cut. I've been going here for years, since the day they opened — and went to Kattia, the owner, even before that, when she worked at Bergdof's John Barrett Salon — and I have a whole gallery of pics of the cool, super-flattering cuts that have just made me feel so pretty over the years. I love Butterfly Studio Salon! As a customer of 5+ years this salon does a wonderful job at any and all services. I love Kim and Alexis, but everyone there does a great job at making every appointment personal, exciting, and always exactly what I come in for!
