C T Nails

I got a pedicure and wanted a regular manicure. But the tech convinced to get gel and that he’d do the massage part longer because it was my first time there. He literally put like 6 coats of gel. My nails have no shape and are bumpy due to the excessive coats. There’s gel on the sides of my nail bed. I told him then he filed a little and put another clear coat. And then didn’t even put lotion on my hands after. I just decided to chuck it up as a loss and leave. I will never go back again.

Horrible experience. Paid 67 dollars (including tip) for 2 pedicures. The girl who did my nails couldn’t have been more than 18 and she didn’t even run my legs or feet. I paid 32 dollars for mine and it said includes massage and that is my favorite part. I am a single mom and can only afford his once in a while and didn’t even get a rub!!! The girl grabbed the grater thing and began to do my heels. Her manager started yelling at her in another language and she stopped for about 5 minutes and finally I said what is wrong. She said I shouldn’t have done this as this is the next package up. I said oh that’s fine I wanted it anyway. If I could give a ZERO Star rating I would. I've been to a lot of nail salons in McHenry, and none of them have been this bad. I got my nails done earlyish one day this past week. There was one woman working doing a manicure, and then one of the womans two young daughters was doing a pedicure. I was told to sit down and pick out my color (which i did immediately). I then waited 20 minutes while the owner next to me finished up the clients manicure. when she began working on my Fill, I specifically told the woman that I knew one was cracked, and needed to be fixed. I also mentioned i had a photo shoot later that day, and that they needed to hold up until then so i really needed her to fix that nail. Had a pedicure in Nov. Was there earlier in the year 2x in 2021. I had the guy, I have had a ingrown toenail for quite awhile on my one big toe, Both times he dug it out and felt good and haven't had any Problems since. it hurt like hell when he did it though but feels so much better. The toe nail is still curved but I have had for years so it may take a lot of time to be straight again. . Been to a podiatrist and never did anything about the ingrown nail or the curve,. Said it will always be like that. But I have read where it can be trained to grow without curving. Just have to retrain it. Time will tell I had the temperate changing color put on. It's time to go back.

I used to come here for years and always had great service. I stopped getting my nails done for a while, now I only get them done just for occasions. So in the past year every time I went there to get them done, my nails have looked like garbage! Constantly changing the price on me and they will not take no for an answer when they’re trying to offer you designs and no chip polish. I will never go back again.
