California Nails

The older lady was nice enough & did do a pedicure & paint the nails. I requested the basic pedicure @ $27. I said I didn’t want the massage (in my opinion the massage is a waste of money & not great to include Swedish strokes l, pressure etc) At the end of my service, I still have calluses, painted nails on the cuticle, cuticles not trimmed back. The awkwardness in the salon is just weird. Nobody talks. When we were done she told me it was $47, So, an extra $20 for what? Extra fluff & buff? I should’ve spoke up to ask what that was for? But felt like she used the excuse of English as a Second Language to not understand. I don’t believe that to be true. Just be honest is all I want from a business. Watch out for “Bait & Switch” at the end of your service. I did pay the $47 plus $10

I went to get my nails done for the first time today and had the worst experience! The lady that did my nails was a sweet person but she has no business doing nails. I got the Felix lavender mani pedi for the extra massage. The massage was pretty bad, I wanted her to stop. She (accidentally I assume) burned me with the wax for the feet. The nail polish was super old so it looked awful even with two layers. On top of all, she barely removed my cuticles - it’s all dry and peeling on the sides. This place isn’t cheap, so I did not think I should tip her well after this experience. I think people should earn a tip. I am sorry but never coming back!

The service was okay but it was extremely overpriced. I payed $75 for basic acrylics with just sparkles. They could have used a glitter powder for the acrylic base, but instead they added it on top as a polish to add to the price. They also didn’t wear gloves while servicing me. One nail tech was obviously sick so she was wearing a mask but it was below her nose and she did not wear gloves. Overall not the worst place, but definitely will not come back; there are better places with lower prices.

We love this salon! Very clean, professional and excellent service! Ann, Tiffany, Trina & Jacob are all wonderful and give amazing mani pedis. It was our first time here and we will be back for sure! :)

Please don't waste your time. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt because my original appointment in salt lake was cancelled due to the weather. I didn't expect much but good lord this set was 55$ and the nail tech had the audacity to ask for tip. I'm sorry but this was worst decision I ever made
