Calla Hair Studio

I went in on July 28 with Ally Roberts at Calla Hair Studio in La Mesa to get a balayage job done on my virgin hair. I came out looking like this, and $450 dollars later. When she blew dried my hair, that’s when I noticed these harsh lines, I brought it up to her, and she goes “it’s the way your hair is styled right now”… The following day on the 29th I asked her if we can get it fixed and she got me in the same day to fix it. She did not acknowledge at all that the work was not good, there was no ownership, and was almost mad that I was even coming back. She gaslit me so hard and acted like I was crazy and like nothing was wrong. Everyone that has seen my hair or seen the pictures cannot deny how bad it was. Ive been going to Alison for 7 years and I can’t recommend her enough. I followed her to a few salons over the years but it’s been such a pleasure to see her open her own gorgeous salon. It’s got great energy and is so easy to get to. Everyone who works there is so talented and dedicated to their craft. Alison has skillfully taken me to the lightest blonde and then back to a deep brunette and everything in between! She’s the only one I let touch my hair including for my wedding. Alison is an amazing hair stylist and an expert colorist! If your looking for a sexy hair cut with amazing color and dimension, she is Legit!! I’ve had Alison give me an updo for the Navy Ball and it was amazing and unique! She has been my stylist for the past two years, I would not trust anyone else! She has given my daughter a gorgeous balayage and cut! You will not leave disappointed!

Danielle Elliot is absolutely incredible! She is so knowledgeable and truly takes her time to work magic on your hair. I absolutely love that she caters towards the more natural look. She offers guidance on her recommendations for best hair care, products, and style. She’s been doing my hair now for several years and it’s getting healthier and healthier with her magic. Also, she’s styled my hair and has done my makeup for several events, and every time I receive soooo many compliments on her work. I don’t know what I’d do without her. She’s truly a miracle worker. I love this hair studio! Alison is an amazing hair stylist, with an eye for detail and flare for style!
