Candle Nail Bar

I called Candle Nail Bar in a panic due to being left with an atrocious set from a different salon. They were very kind, and also able to fit me in for an appointment during a busy day. I walked in at 2:30 and was in a chair within 10 minutes and given choice of drinks/snacks. My tech was amazing, and fixed my nails with ease. I am shocked at the way he was able to transform my nails from what they were (pictures included.) I will not be going anywhere else in the future. — The silver cat eye picture is the beautiful nails I walked out with, “french tip” photo is what I walked in with.

I am beyond disappointed with this visit. My mom and I have been coming here for months and never expected an experience this bad. We were seated next to each other and from the start it was obvious the nail techs were careless and unprofessional. While actively drilling on our nails, they kept looking over at each holding conversations, burning us MULTIPLE times and even cutting us. The one was on her phone scrolling showing the other tech stuff. My nail color was applied so poorly that it looked messy and uneven. They stated it was because I picked a color that was meant for design. First off, nothing was said that it was a design only color but secondly I didn’t mind the marble look. I usually like this place but today I was soooooo disappointed this nail tech was no good. I'm sorry but I've never left a nail salon after a 70 dollar fill and felt this way.. I feel like I got taken advantage off.. this is unacceptable. Under my nails was not cleaned and the were not all the way filled in.. I included pics

I want to be honest but fair about my experience. I understand that small nicks can happen during cuticle work — I get acrylics often and I’m not overly sensitive about that — but what happened during my appointment went beyond a normal nick. A cuticle tool removed part of my skin, and I was bleeding for much of the service. The blood was on my finger, on the paper towels, and even on the technician. To try to stop it, they used a clotting powder and glue, which helped temporarily, but it kept reopening. It burned and stung the entire time I was in the chair, and I eventually had to speak up so it could be looked at more closely. This was a birthday gift from my big sis. I’ve not had my nails done in Years. I do not believe that the dip powder was an option the last time I had a manicure/pedicure! Lol. The atmosphere and service is AMAZING.
