Candyland Cuts For Kids

I have a 4 year old son with Down Syndrome and I took him here specifically because I know it’s not easy for anyone to cut his hair. The stylist did an average job but when I went to pay…David L. Told me that because my son wasn’t listening and was uncooperative I had to pay an extra $10. Again my son is 4 years old with Down Syndrome this place says it specializes in kids cuts. I feel it was completely discriminatory for them to charge extra because he doesn’t communicate. Come to find out my son was crying because the stylist ended up scratching and scraping the side of his neck while she was cutting his hair. Completely disappointed in how this company takes advantage of those with disabilities. The posted prices are what I expected to pay. When asked why I was charged more David told

Our hairdresser was super interactive and accommodating to our son. I loved that she talked with him and made him feel comfortable. She new exactly how we wanted his hair and delivered perfectly. The environment is super kid oriented. Toy Story 4 on the tv and a huge area to play.

This was an unprofessional work service, I went with a 1 year old and was consulted with a rude demeanor. As well as when the service ended my child had 1 cut on each ear. This was brushed off and not taken accountability for. I called in as well afterwards and was hanged up to. This itself was rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. The establishment itself was not very child friendly and the general care for the children is harsh and unprofessional. Not going here again. And will continue to reach out for accountability and license.

My daughter had bad cradle cap as a baby, so her hair is hardly growing on top but only growing on the bottom. I didn’t know what we could do for her unintentional mullet, but Candyland Cuts for Kids fixed it up for us!! I love it so much & she said she wants to go back & have another hair cut!

I've been taking both of my kids to Candyland cuts since 2013. They are very professional, friendly and they really know to deal with kids. Not only kids , but also they are really good for styling and cutting adults' hair too. Lin does a really great job with my wavey curly hair with lots of layers.
