I am constantly trying to figure out my wavy hair and can never find the right haircut/style for it. Brooke made me feel so comfortable when explaining what I don't like 😅 After I got the haircut I thought I wanted lol I realized it didn't look like what I thought it was going to look like when I styled it. I called the next day and Brooke took me in same day. She listened and made me feel like I could trust her with my hair. She took her time with me (twice!) and now I am absolutely in love with my haircut. She even gave me advice on my hair care that I never knew I needed. She is just amazing! Thank you again Brooke!!

I have tried multiple salons in the area, and this was my best experience by far. 1. There was no wait. 2. Fran listened to what I wanted and took time to assess my hair before beginning. I have never experienced so much attention to detail. I have very blonde hair, and he took time to make sure all my layers were even. 3. The service was incredibly friendly. 4. I asked for tips on how to French braid my hair, and he took time to show me. 5. Very reasonably priced. It was only $30 for a dry cut. 6. The shop is very cute and clean. 7. Fran styled my hair in a beautiful waterfall braid and curled it.

I called Carter Hair Design looking for a stylist to update my color and cut before my engagement shoot for my wedding, and I could not have made a better decision. Not only was Fran, my stylist, incredibly kind and infectiously exuberant, but he was genuinely invested in making my vision a reality. And he did. The final outcome was better than I even imagined, and I have never loved my hair more than I did leaving the Carter Hair Design salon. I’ll never go anywhere else again! Thank you, Fran! You’ve gained yourself a very loyal client.

Terrific hair salon; very friendly and welcoming. I called for an appointment and they were able to accommodate my schedule. Brooke listened to what I wanted, and gave me an excellent cut. She recommended a product (after I asked) and I am happy with her recommendation. Street parking is available, but limited. There is a large, free parking lot by the river; less than a five minute walk.

This is the best salon I have ever been to. The staff is wonderful, the owners are even better! Sara did an amazing job, not only did she fix the botched color a previous salon had done, she took the time to make my hair perfect and listen to my every concern. I was also very happy with the professionalism and helpfulness of everyone, Katherine took time out of her schedule to help and make sure I left the salon with perfect hair. I'm obsessed with my new color and will definitely be back for more! I am beyond happy with my results! This was the best experience I have ever had getting at ANY salon! I highly recommend coming here!
