Celebrity Nails

Sooo...this was only the second time I have been to this salon. I returned because the younger guy did my nails so well and lasted a long time! THEN, I returned about a month and a half later and got a man who claimed he did my nails at this salon before. I assured him he hadn't. He said full set. Yes. What color. I showed him a picture. He gave me two choices that matched the picture.Somewhat. i went ahead and went with the one that he thought looked like the picture. He asked me what length. I showed him the picture again and he said he didn't care about the picture. I told them I was going to a wedding but I still will have to be able to type at work. He would not shorten my nails. Walked in to get my eyebrows done. I told the lady what I wanted and her response was not right now. I was very confused by her statement and repeated what she said for clarification. She repeated it again so I left. This was my first and last time here. Not a very good first impression as she didn’t even tell me when I could get them done. Nail shops are a dime a dozen in Richmond so don’t need to do business here.

I would never recommend this place to anyone. I had an awful experience. I explained to two different people and even showed pictures of what a French manicure is but they both messed up despite assuring me that they knew what they were doing. The first one tried and failed and the second said she would fix it. The two looked like trainees and ended up giving me badly shaped and clumsily polished nails for both pedicure and manicure. I paid $91 but that cannot be compared with the time I wasted. Celebrity Nails staff, if you don't know how to do something, let the client know before you start and release them to go elsewhere but its both unprofessional and very rude to do "trial and error" with a client's nails. Absolutely disappointed!!

I was greeted and treated very well. I had a basic mani and a hot stone pedi! I absolutely LOVED everything about it! I felt wonderful when I left! Highly recommend Celebrity Nails!

Clean establishment - Nancy is awesome and thorough! Love detail given with pedicures and my nails always look great. Make an appointment for the best experience - I will be returning!
