I got a haircut with Crystal at Chaos Salon for the first time last week. I gave myself a week to live in it and think about before writing a review. Overall, bad customer service and bad haircut. I don’t write reviews and haven’t ever left a bad review for a salon before, but after spending $100 just for a cut I’m feeling a little swindled. Stylist was 10 minutes late for appointment from running over from previous. Totally fine but no apology or greeting when she was ready for me just a ‘Hey’ as I’m looking at my phone. We sit and chop a rough cut after we discuss taking 5 inches off with face framing layers. I notice she works to thin out my hair without asking (I admit I said nothing but I trust that she’s doing her job), then tells me to go to shampoo bowl without further communicati

I cannot recommend Crystal enough! From the very first appointment, I felt truly heard—which is so rare to find in a stylist. I’ve seen her twice this past year for toning, and each time she’s helped me achieve the exact color I’ve been describing to stylists for years. I have very dark brown hair, and it’s easy for it to fall flat without the right dimension—but Crystal absolutely nailed it. She’s incredibly patient and genuinely listens to what you want without pushing unnecessary treatments or color changes. Instead, she gives honest, thoughtful advice and explains everything clearly. First time visiting Chaos Salon. It will definitely not be my last. First off it's very clean, I like the decorating style. Most importantly everyone is very friendly. I had Crystal(I'm sorry if I spelled it wrong). I was VERY overdue for a haircut and a she did a wonderful job! She was friendly, professional, and transparent! Which I absolutely love! I knew I was going to need a decent chop, but she did a great job keeping the length while still taking off the dead ends. Highly recommended. Thank you!

Chaos salon is a special place if you’re looking for a one of kind hairstylist. Getting my hair done there is like going home. As soon as I walk through the door I’m greeted by everyone like it’s a family reunion. They greet me excitedly by first name and as soon as I sit in the chair, TOM, my stylist, knows exactly what I want done to my hair. It’s as if he reads my mind. TOM is a consistently excellent stylist and colorist. I’ve trusted him with my hair for over two decades. I’ve listened to how Tom and his co-owner brother talked to all their other customers and they treat them like family too. They are not only amazing at their craft but they care about their customers. Bravo, Chaos!

DO NOT GET A BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT HERE! I just washed my hair for the first time (10 days after I got the service) and my hair looks exactly like it did before the treatment that cost me close to $500. I even used the Brazilian Blowout Shampoo I bought at the salon to ensure the best results. I have normal thickness wavy hair so a perfect candidate for the treatment. The stylist, Crystal, did only about half the steps for the treatment. My hair was only shampoo’d once and less so than what I do myself in a normal shower when you are supposed to thoroughly shampoo at least 2x. Very minimal solution was used in my hair, by the time she was done the solution in the color bowl it looked just as full as when she started.
