I came in to the shop looking for a wig and was told they had hair braiders that come to the shop. Now I am Caucasian and was told they can sew in the weave with a frontal so I bought hair and had the lady install it now the front of my hair would not glue and the back was never braided so the back was lifted so I said let’s just do a sew in wig so I bought the wig from there that was suppose to be human which wasn’t because it wouldn’t curl at all. So the next morning I woke up the wig was off so it was never sewed in. So I messaged the lady and told her and never got a response back. I wasted so much money on all of this. They should have been honest and told me they could not do my hair. Very unprofessional in my opinion. I will not return nor advise any Caucasian women to come to this

I visited Waterbury from New York City and I found this beauty supply store open on a Sunday. I receiving a warm greeting upon entering. I also the met owner Cheryl. She was very professional and knowledgeable. She helped me to pick out a very nice piece of jewelry from their selection and my niece loved it. She also gave me great advice on how to take better care my hair. I started following her advice on how to properly moisturize my own hair, since using the products on my hair which she recommended I have received several comments from people who have noticed the difference. My hair looks and feels better. I highly recommend this business as their are fewer Black owned businesses for us it really feels good to be treated respectfully and know my business is appreciated. Stumbled upon this back woman owned beauty supply store when looking for a ponytail for my daughter. The service and help I needed in what products and different options that were available was extraordinary. Definitely going back for other products.

Poor customer service. People act like they are going to fight you if you return something. Not pleasant. No smile. You cannot buy something for your man from there and if he doesn't like it then you cannot return it. I am not sure why my wife would go to a place like this when I can take her to a real shop. 😄
