Chicago Style Lounge

I used to stay in the area and was trying to find a place to do my hair. I came across and communicated with Mo aka mowristwerk, on Instagram, and she helped me understand the hairstyle I wanted. I scheduled an appointment with her at Chicago Style Lounge. For all the appointments that were scheduled with her, she had been a little late, and the third time was the worst. The last time I came to the shop, I arrived earlier than expected, which was my fault. I told Mo I was there early, but I understood she wouldn’t be there until our scheduled appointment. Once our scheduled time started and I saw she still wasn’t there, I texted/called her. I communicated with her throughout the time to check on her estimated arrival, and she kept giving excuses. My family's stylist is Tone. He is new to this shop, but not new to us. He is talented, patient and efficient. This salon is unisex, so there is lot's of talent inside and the music was so good. From what I could see, the stylist were all doing a good job. Tone the barber is highly recommended.

Keye is my stylist at Chicago Style Lounge. She's professional and she cares about her client's hair. I had a bald spot when I first went to her and now my Locs are at my waist line. She's excellent!! Y'all should learn today!!🤣

Debo the owner/Manager Is so unprofessional. How you Hood/Boujee. How you acting like your shop is the best thing since sliced bread. But the outside looking like where you dump your garbage. Appearance is everything and your first impression is everything so 👎🏽. Only thing saving this dump is the talent of some of the staff. If they want to elevate I advise them to get out while you can. Because his personality and demeanor is so unprofessional no customer service ethics at all. I would rather get my hair done in someone’s kitchen than come back here.

Stylists are unprofessional. While I was getting my hair done stylist were talking about another client in a negative manner. Unwelcoming environment, will not be back.
