Chop Barbershop - Simpsonville

Did not go well getting a cut here. Asked if they can do a specific cut for my hair type and beard and was assured they had a professional to do it and was highly recommended. The lady who cut my hair was nervous and unassuring, which made me very nervous but I needed a cut for my company photo. Well not only the "barber did not know how to cut hair but ended up cutting some of my long hair that I requested not to touch and I had specifically said not to touch my mustache which she ended up chopping it off regardless and played it off like it was no big deal, when she "shaped my beard she ended up cutting divots in my beard making it look uneven and odd which now I may have to cut short and restart the growth which I have been growing for a couple years. My son and I have been coming here for the past few months. We have had great experiences since we started coming. Amanda has cut our hair each time and always does a great job. I really like the flexibility of being able to schedule via the app and it makes things easier being able to see her schedule and finding a time that works.

As a woman with short hair, it’s hard to find someone to give me a great cut and keep it feminine. I also like to change things up! Marie has consistently been open to my ideas, has a great attitude and gives me a great cut. I’ve sent folks her way! I will continue to feel good about referring others to her. Thanks Marie!

Very disappointed. I’ve been taking my son here since they opened and I have had some issues where the price I paid in store was changed AFTER I left and other mishaps that have happened. Tonight, my husband took our son and it should have been $25 but he was charged $30 because it was a skin fade? My sons hair doesn’t even look like it was cut. This is the worst cut he has ever received. It literally looks like they took a weed cutter to his head. They’re always changing staff also and some of their better barbers have sadly left. I keep going back because it’s 3 minutes from my house. Unfortunately, after tonight, it seems I need to find a new place. If you want consistency, this may not be the spot for you.

Sydney cuts my hair, and she is hands down the best stylist I’ve ever had. I’m very particular about my hair, and she has absolutely perfected my cut. She’s been taking care of my hair for several years now, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else. 10/10 recommend!
