I always love coming into the salon. Chris has been there for years. He's a classic contributor to our upper West Side community. And now that the master stylist Sharky is there, I like to come in at least once a month. Everyone on the staff is so friendly.And everyone who walks out as a customer is STYLING!

Ziva has been cutting my hair for the last 8 months . She’s very good and has lovely quiet energy . I had a botched color job and she did a color correction with my own product . My hair color looks great .. thanks to her . It’s a no nonsense hair salon . Nothing fancy . Good hair cuts and color in a low keyed kinda retro 70’s ambiance . Decent prices and no loud gyrating music .

My favorite hairdresser in the world is now working at this salon. I've been getting my hair cut by SHARKEY for so many years now and honestly, he's the only person I let cut my hair. No matter what the man does, it always looks fabulous!! I'm in Nashville most of the year now and I make sure to get a haircut whenever I come to NYC. When my friend Karen comes from Boston, she gets a Sharkey cut. When my friend Shirin comes from Nashville, she gets a Sharkey cut. The man knows how to cut hair! He's got style. You know, not only does it look great now, but it's going to look great as it grows out, too. SHARKEY is simply the best! I promise you will be glad you tried someone new!

Kind and attentive owner. Clearly super experienced with hair. My first time visiting—he nailed the pic I brought for haircut reference, and also nailed the auburn color he needed to match for my roots.
