I happened to be in the area and Chrome and Clover had been recommended to me by a friend. The staff were very attentive and nice. The space is beautiful and clean.They were able to squeeze me in as a walk in. I had my hair cut by Donovan. Donovan listened to the cut and style I was looking for and pulled it off flawlessly. Can’t wait to return in a few months!

I had a great experience here. Katie cut my hair perfectly and paid attention to every detail to make sure it looked just right. The atmosphere was welcoming and professional, and you can tell she’s passionate about her work. Highly recommend if you want a clean, sharp cut done right. She actually gave good suggestions and was honest!

An absolute new gem in Wicker Park. The salon offers soigne vibes curated down to the fixtures. I was immediately greeted with an espresso and Katie who took her time during my consult to make sure she understood the color and style I wanted. After Katie meticulously trimmed and balayaged light blonde into my strands, I feel like a goddess of the sun. My hair is light, bright and fantastic.

I’ve been going to Donovan since late 2021 and he’s easily my favorite barber in Chicago. I’ve followed him to Chrome & Clover, his current shop, and always try to book with him when I can. His fades are super clean (best in the city), his beard trims are always sharp, and he really takes the time to understand your hair and style. The shop has great vibes, everyone is welcoming, and there’s always a solid playlist playing.

I had an excellent experience with Chrome and Clover Salon, thanks to Donovan. He truly understood my hair type—I have a combination of thin and coarse hair along with a sensitive scalp, which can be challenging. The shampooing was incredibly relaxing, and the haircut felt fresh, thoughtful, and tailored to me. I don’t easily trust hair stylists, but Donovan completely exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend him if you’re looking for someone skilled, attentive, and genuinely knowledgeable.
