City Nails and Spa

Would have gotten one star if I haven't had good services in the past but this time was a horrible experience and nails didn't last 2 days. These were done on 9/20 (check date on receipt) today is 9/22, before I even left the shop, my left pinky nail was already lifting so I had her fix it. She gave attitude the whole time while fixing her mistake. Yesterday both thumbs lift. And today, the right thumb cracked in the middle and snagged. Come to find out.... the gel is not completely cured and now the nail is sticky. Then they had the nerve to try and charge me $75. I say try because I refused to pay that amount for what I got. I will not be returning eve again. And yes I will be spending the word

I’ve been coming here for about a year, and my previous visits were good. That’s the only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one. They also ultimately did not charge me for the incomplete service. However, this most recent experience was incredibly disappointing and uncomfortable. I came in after a long, stressful week looking forward to relaxing. From the start, the experience felt different. Normally, I’m handed the gel colors to browse. This time, I was simply pointed to a rack and told to choose. Small detail, but it set the tone. The technician rushed through my pedicure and hurt me multiple times while working on my cuticles. I said “ouch” more than once. She didn’t ask what type of pedicure I wanted and never offered the service menu. She also didn’t ask what shape I preferred

Service by Tee was excellent!!!! However, I noticed that the polish was a dark blue instead of the black that I asked for. I mentioned the matter to the guy at the front desk and he tried to argue with me and convince me that this is “black” nail polish. He then proceeded to say “we’re not stupid, that’s black” Not sure why he felt the need to be so smart mouthed and sassy about a service I paid for. However the young lady Tee tried to correct the mistake but I was so blown away by his lack of professionalism that I chose to stick with the blue . Sadly won’t be returning and will be sure to pass the word along to the rest of the community that goes here.

My Nail tech is Andy which is the owner. He is GREAT! I’ve been going to him for 5 years and never fails to disappoint! Everyone is Very professional and welcoming! He has a lot of other great nail technicians, I would Suggest making appointment if you don’t mind waiting . But you won’t wait for long , they are quick and neat with your hands and feet! Tell him LO sent you! ☺️

Everyone is super friendly the atmosphere is amazing very relaxing . Not very crowded on a Sunday . It’s best to call and book appointment . 10/10 went for a pedicure very clean & great massage chairs 10/10
