Very disappointed. I got a gel manicure less than 24 hours ago (yesterday at 3:30pm) and the gel has already chipped/lifted at the edge of my nail. This should not happen so quickly with gel polish. Unfortunately, the staff did not do a basic wrapping/sealing of the free edge, which is fundamental for a gel manicure! I was careful with my hands and did nothing that would cause damage. I expected much better quality and attention to basic technique. Very disappointing for an $88 service!

I had a terrible experience at Clarendon Nail & Spa. I booked a full set with acrylic, which I’ve been getting for years, and even showed inspo nails. Helen immediately tried to upsell me to builder gel, and when I declined, she became dismissive. She refused to shape the acrylics to my nail bed, got loud. The polish was uneven, with bubbles and streaks, and there was polish left on my cuticles. When she went to paint my nails, the polish looked streaky and she rudely says to me”did you use soap when you washed your hands.” I said no and then she got a new polish, showing the issue was the polish and not even an apology for being so accusatory. Even worse, the same nail tools were used from client to client with no sanitation in between. My acrylics chipped after just one day, and to top i
