Classic Nails

Awful experience. The workers are nice but Thursday March 23, i went in and it wasn't busy at all, the owner and katie were the only workers there, two other customers. Me and one other woman got a manicure. I waited 4 hours, by the second hour I only had two nails done. The nails are drastically different sizes, the acrylic work is awful and messy, she completely took off all my skin under my nail, and her own eyelash fell into my gel as it was being made, and when i asked for the design she rushed and sloppily did it. the paint doesn't even cover the acrylic color at all. and my right hand is drastically longer and wider then my left hand. My original nail tech wasn’t available so I tried classic nails the nail before Mother’s Day a let’s just say that was the most terrible decision I’ve made thus far. Acrylic is not laid properly , nails are very thick and fat , some nails are crooked an also the acrylic is not on the whole nail. Definitely wouldn’t recommend. Nice environment though!

This nail shop has recently moved to Phenix City right next to the Dunkin Donuts. They have completely redecorated and upgraded everything, including polishes and dip powders. The new place is super cute and makes you feel at home, but I have one big concern. The nail stations are basically on a bar type of long table. It looks cute, but totally not functional. The customer is sitting on a hard bar stool with hardly any back support and having to lean forward is so uncomfortable. Sitting on uncomfortable chairs for 2 hours getting your nails done is the complete opposite of relaxation. If you are tall like me, don't even try it because your knees will constantly knock the wood of the bar. The manicurists even look like they are uncomfortable, also. Got my nails done on Friday, October 29,2021 and while cleaning the bathroom four nails popped right off Monday, November 1,2021. Been getting my nails done for 17 years and never had this happen before. Poor craftsmanship. Before they remove and redo I’d prefer a FULL refund of all my money.

I hate to write this review because the girl was nice, but I paid no less than ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS for this manicure (see pics). I asked for gel polish with holographic. For some reason, they said I have to do dip powder, and then they did gel polish on top, and THEN the holographic powder, which is probably why it was so expensive. But in the past, every other place I've been to would just do regular gel with holographic powder. Anyway, the girl cut me on one hand and then ripped my skin off on the other. And then used used tools with no sanitation on top of my cuts. And there was no cuticle oil used. No hand lotion, no massage. I have never paid more than $60 for straight gel manicure with no acrylics. It's bumpy and uneven. The level of skill does not match the price. I just can't go ba
