Cmt African Hair

I am a student that lives in the area close to CMT braiding studio. I have been coming here for nearly 4 years. I have never had any issues or been disappointed with an appointment. The owner Catia, is amazingly kind and does incredible work. Also, she is very responsive to calls. I recommend this place to anybody looking to get quality braids done.

CMT African Hair is a place to have any desired style that u’d like to. My daughter & I have been having our hair done there for so many years & we are both so happy that we came across such a wonderful place. The owner is a Christ-fearing God, honest & caring woman. She truly does her job w/ a whole heart & we appreciate her great work. I would encourage u to pay her salon a visit & u won’t be disappointed 👍

Well I scheduled an appointment and she told me to come at eight. I waited forty five minutes and called numerous times before I gave up. Fifteen minutes after she called apologizing and wanted to know if I still wanted to get my hair done. I came back and showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair done and she didn't deliver. My braids were too big to curl and the cornrows on the side wasn't the same pattern as the picture. To top it all off she sewn the back of the braids together. I tried liking the new hairstyle but I couldn't because I didn't pay for that hairstyle. After that I called thinking that she could restyle my hair. I even offered to buy the hair and pay again. But I didn't get that, instead I got her yelling at me saying I got this hairstyle. She didn't want to work with

On my first visit I was told one price over the phone and a different price after hair was finished. Called to schedule my daughter and appointment. She said to be there at 8am. We were here at 8 and no one was there. Waited well over 30 minutes for someone to show up. Not professional at all.

I absolutely love her shop. She does my hair just like the pictures, I show her I want for the style!!!!!! Good conversations she always has words of wisdom!!
