Customer Reviews
Didn’t have a great experience. I was there less than 48 hours ago for a dip manicure and the top coat is already chipping on 2 nails. Additionally, waited 20 minutes past my appointment time, there was no cuticle cutting, and it looks sloppy. Disappointed in entire experience. Would like a refund.
I got my nails done days before at another nail salon and got gel x extensions. The nail tech did a great job but the long nails were just becoming an extra chore to get used to as I was about to fly to Europe. I realized I wanted my short nails. I was hesitant on going to Coco after reading all the negative reviews but I was desperate hours before we had to leave to get to the airport. The owner and one of the nail techs Brenda worked at the same time to soak off my gel x as fast as possible.. since they knew I was on a time crunch. The owner even took a photo of my pedicure I got done at another nail salon to try and find a matching color for my nails. I had a great experience and they charged me a very reasonable price at $55
I’ve been coming to here since it opened and took a long break and came back yesterday for the first time in a year or two for a gel manicure. The tech was friendly and communicative at first but I noticed she was moving very fast when it came to removing my gel and then very fast when cutting my cuticles, she nipped one and didn’t notice. i felt it and then saw it was bleeding and she kept moving forward and buffing my nails where it was bleeding. I winced to indicate the discomfort and she did say sorry but didn’t shift or change her pace or pressure. A day later I have not one but two raw cuticles that burn every time I touch anything. I paid cash, gel manicure listed on the white board for $30 cash and she charged me $35.
Super friendly& had a lot of colors, I asked for chrome, but they weren’t sure what kind of chrome to add. I really like my nails though. Only complaint would be that they left a little polish on my skin and didn’t clean it off.
I remembered why I don’t enjoy nail salons. You can tell them exactly what you need and still you never know what you’ll walk out with. I asked for coffin nails, she gave me some kind of almond. Every nail is a different shape. Nail polish doesn’t even cover the whole nail. I asked her 3 times to fix them. I even showed her a picture thinking it was a language barrier. If im paying $70 plus tip I shouldn’t have to go home and fix my nails myself. Listen to the negative reviews and save yourself the time and money
