Initial Experience: Owner/Stylist was responsive to texts for a last minute appointment. Location was easy to find and street parking was surprisingly easy. I would recommend installing Park Mobile to your phone and just pay for parking based on your Parking Zone. Back story: I went to another salon for a Brunette Balayage with a few babylights, I ended up with what appeared to be a VERY brassy dip blonde / bad ombre. So, I sought out a salon that specialized in color. Arrival: I didn't warn the Owner/Stylist that I was black with just flat ironed hair (no relaxer or processing). I found it funny how politely she asked if my hair curled up when wet. Warning: **IF YOU HAVE NATURAL HAIR / TIGHTLY CURLED HAIR AND EXPECT A BLOW OUT, PLEASE LET HER KNOW** Also, like other reviewers, if you'

Had a great experience! This was my first time getting my hair colored at a salon, I wasn’t exactly clear on how I wanted the highlights to look in the front, which was my fault. Samil was kind enough and stayed and fixed them until I was happy! I’m in love with my hair and have been receiving constant compliments.

Horrible experience. I got there with virgin hair, I needed to cover grays. I asked what is the lighter color I can get whithout showing my rpictures, d she tell me that she doesn't know, that depends of what color I want. Apparently, the lady is unable to provide a profesional opinion. I asked for a color sample to pick a color, she didn't have it. I went to my phone to look for a color. I showed her the picture, and I asked if that color is going to show the roots, again, she doesn't know. I told her to go ahead with that color, only because my birthday party was next day. The color she applied ended darker than my natural color... and remember I had virgin hair, white canvas, I ended looking like Wednesday Adams for more then 6 months.

I just went to Samil for the first time and wow, I was super impressed with her talent. My hair looks amazing and after only 1 day I’ve already gotten so many compliments. I’ve been going to a trusted stylist for years and was nervous to try somewhere new after moving to the area. However, Samil totally exceeded my expectations with both cut and color! She and her assistant worked hard to make sure that I got exactly what I wanted. If you’re looking for a great balayage stylist in the area, I highly recommend checking them out.

I was super nervous to leave my old salon and start over somewhere new but Samil and team did a tremendous job - even better than my old salon. She had great recommendations for what color and cut I should go with, really thinking about what would complement my skin and eyes. It may be a little pricey, but you get what you pay for and I’m thrilled about how it all came out and would gladly pay their prices for it again. The salon is small, but very clean and I could tell they take the COVID guidelines seriously and I felt very comfortable there. You can also book online, which is super easy and convenient! 10/10!
