Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids - Sacramento

I took my 3-year-old son to Cookie Cutters yesterday for his very first haircut, and it was such a great experience. I booked the appointment last minute and arrived a little late, but they were still able to fit us in, which I really appreciated. From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly patient. My son loved getting to choose which car he wanted to sit in, and the TV at his station made it easy for him to watch cartoons while getting his haircut. It really helped keep him entertained. The gentleman who cut my son’s hair was awesome. He was kind, calm, and extremely patient—even though my son was constantly squirming, moving, and turning his head the entire time. Vanesa did amazing with both my kids! She effortlessly gave my daughter the cutest bangs, and even braided her hair back before we finished. My son is a mover and she completed a near perfect cut for him as well! 10/10 highly recommend. It was a perfect environment for my kids to get their first hair cut.

We booked an appointment with Dannie after seeing the great reviews, and we’re so glad we did. She’s incredibly gentle and wonderful with kids. She took the time to show my son how the tools worked so he knew exactly what to expect, which helped him feel comfortable right away. Dannie was also very communicative—she asked how we wanted his haircut and made sure she fully understood before getting started. She’s easy to talk to and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend her for kids’ haircuts!

Cookie cutters was absolutely fantastic! We just took our son there for his first haircut appointment. First haircuts can be a big deal because they’re quite scary for little kids. I was so happy we made the choice to come to cookie cutters for his first because the barber was clearly a total professional at dealing with screaming crying to toddlers who are absolutely terrified of getting their haircut! The barber handled it so well! He was kind, explained everything he was doing, but was undeterred and didn’t skimp on the haircut whatsoever! Which we really appreciated. It’s pretty amazing; our kid’s haircut looks like he sat perfectly still and had a 45 minute cut! But the barber got us in and out in maybe 10 minutes flat. All around great experience. My kids love to get their haircut here and I love it too! The staff are very nice and professional and I am impressed by how well they cut kids hair and within a short time! Just came for a second time and my son loves his "side sweep" bangs. We will be back!
