Cozy Nail Spa

I came in for a gel manicure (no extensions), and while the nail tech did a great job cleaning up my nails and making them look nice, the experience as a whole left me frustrated and uncomfortable. When I went to pay, I noticed I’d been charged $70 — which didn’t make sense, since the posted price for a gel manicure is $40. I realized after walking out that I had been charged for extensions, which I didn’t get (my natural nails are very short — it’s clear I didn’t have tips put on). I went back in and asked about it, and the tech admitted immediately that she’d charged me incorrectly. That part I can understand — mistakes happen. All of the ladies who work here are lovely. Unfortunately, I did receive one of the worst manicures I've had here starting with my old gel removal - instead of removing them by filing or soaking, on several of my nails my technician straight up ripped my old polish off by peeling, which is highly damaging to nails. The subsequent manicure also felt pretty rushed - the filing/shaping was uneven and I had to go in and fix it myself at home, and the polish 2 weeks later is already peeling in super weird places. Ultimately the experience very much felt like a waste of my money, which is dissapointing as I want to like and support small businesses.

I’ve been to this salon twice now with Jadice doing my nails both times. I got a gel French the first time and gel-x extensions the second. Both times Jadice shown so much attention to detail and checked in with me along the way to ensure I love the shape, length, color, etc! The salon is cute and clean too. Definitely my favorite salon in the area!

Overall this is a nice, clean spa with friendly staff and reasonable prices. I give it 4 stars because my last gel manicure only last a few days before a nail chipped easily. I went back to get the one nail fixed, and they did charge me $3. Then, only a week and a half after my initial appointment, the polish started fully peeling off several nails and I had to remove it all. Normally gel manicures last quite a bit longer, so I think it was an issue with the polish brand. I will definitely continue to get my nails done here but make sure I choose a different polish brand.

I love this place! (The pictures don’t do my nails justice either, they are so cute.) Booking online was super easy and I did it the same day. The salon is spotless, and very cutely decorated! I got a gel manicure and Jadice was so nice, she wanted to make sure all the details were done well and offered to touch them up if they chipped anytime soon. If you’re nearby definitely give this place a try. I’ll be back! :)
