Crew Cuts Hair Salon - 125th St

Sunday afternoon, looking for a barbershop and this place was open. Told her i wanted a mid drop fade hair cut and she told me she knew it and proceeded to cut my hair. My hair came so horrible that she literally cut my hair in 2 minutes!! Lot of hair on back, my clothes are ruined, she will not clean it up. Told her i was disappointed in the haircut and it’s not what i asked for. Then she said i don’t know what is a mid drop fade, you should’ve went to a hair saloon!! Hold on, wait a minute. I thought they were professionals?? I thought the name of this place was crew cut salon? I am beyong angry!! They will literally cut your hair in 2minutes! There is countless number of hairstyles of men on the planet earth, but no matter what you say, or even if you show them a picture, they know how

I've been here twice now and had my hair cut by two different ladies. Both of them had heavy accents that were hard for me to understand, but I described to them what I wanted and received it both times. I did have to clarify a couple of times because I wear my hair very short and they hadn't done it short enough, but none of the results looked bad. They were very accommodating of my corrections, not angry or rude, and it felt like they wanted to give me the cut I wanted, not rush me out the door. Didn't wait more than 10 minutes for a cut either time despite being a walk-in and it's the cheapest place in the area. For the best experience I recommend describing what you want clearly and simply (i.e. I want my hair cut this long here, this long here, and gradually layered in between) instea

Too bad you can't select zero or negative stars. My grandson Dimitri stopped in for a haircut before going on a trip including a wedding. He told the stylist what he wanted for his haircut and what he got was a buzz cut. A military style bootcamp buzz cut. I don't know if the stylist is new at this location. We've both been there several times and not had an issue like that. Her suggestion after the ruined haircut was to shampoo, condition and use gel before the wedding. There is nothing left to gel. We will never return to this location again.

Horrible service. The lady did not let me explain how I wanted my cut and abruptly finished my sentence by saying “Ok, ok, ok!” And the haircut was not exactly what I asked for. Later she apologized for he mistake. She was in a hurry. I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND, save yourself some time and money and go somewhere else.

Would give a zero star for customer service. Just had my hair cut this afternoon, 9/15 by the rudest aggressive hairdresser ever. First, she made a nasty comment about the hairspray I had on my hair. Was it necessary,really? Then at one point she slammed the pair of scissors on the counter yelling “let me do my job” as I was running my fingers through my hair just to see if it needed to be shorter. I was shocked but decided to stay polite. When I asked for her to use the scissors on the top of my hair, she grabbed the clippers instead…Didn’t want to fight her, really terrible temper. Was yelled at when she grabbed the mirror (in order to see the end result) that I thought she was giving me to hold. I guess I assumed wrong… I walked in only because my regular salon was unfortunately close
