Crowned Exotic Hair Salon

I scheduled an appointment back in March with Ashely and paid the required $50 deposit for the appointment. Unexpectedly, the COVID-19 pandemic caused everything to close and the state to go on lock down. Since I am in the military, I could no longer travel to Houston to get my hair done. So I contacted Ashely well in advanced to cancel my appointment. She understood but wouldn’t let me receive my deposit back but assured me I could put it toward a future appointment which was fine with me. Well now that I am ready to rebook an appointment and use the $50 I already paid toward my new appointment, she will not respond to my messages but looks at them. I booked an appointment with Ashley after seeing her work via Instagram video and pictures. Initially I messaged her without a response so I contacted the receptionist to book an appointment and advised her of exactly what I wanted and even included a picture to ensure I was booking the correct service and being provided accurate pricing. The morning of my appointment she did send correspondence stating she was running late and the appointment would be pushed back 45 minutes. When I arrived I had to wait additional time for her assistant and also was advised the receptionist booked the wrong service so I would need to pay an additional charge to receive my desired look. I booked appointment online as instructed had to leave credit card on file. Day of appointment wasn't even on books. Also online was told will be charged after services. I had to pay upfront and wasn't price quoted online. A simple wash and flat iron was overrated in price and I could of saved my money and did it myself. It look like a half washed kitchen job. Very rushed and edges or roots wasn't even touched. No bounce no nothing just stiff like your grandmother press and curl. Very disappointing since she came highly recommended. Her sew in look good but ill pass. Everybody isn't meant to be a well rounded stylist.

Ashley has the skills to pay the bills - LITERALLY! If you want quality work for a fair price look no further! I've been a client for the past 10 years and she never disappoints!
