I’ve been a regular at this salon for about four years and, until recently, had mostly good experiences. The place is clean, has a calm atmosphere, and I’ve tried several services here over the years — gel manicures, UV gel, acrylics, and pedicures. However, the quality and professionalism of the staff have gone downhill lately. During my last few visits: My callus pedicure wasn’t done properly even after I asked for it to be redone. My gel manicure chipped within a day, and even after getting it fixed, it chipped again two days later. One of the techs was on TikTok the whole time while applying polish, and the results obviously weren't great. One time, they took me in close to closing and rushed through my nails — two techs worked on me at once, and the result was uneven and inconsistent.

Don always does an amazing job on my nails, and is very welcoming and detail oriented. He is very skilled at perfecting beautiful gel designs, as well as standard manicures. The salon is very clean and quiet, and a great place to get your nails done in Paulhaus Hook.

I had to walk out of my appointment because my manicurist kept scraping away at the cuticles on my toes and when I told her what she was doing was hurting me, she said, “oh” and continued. I decided I didn’t want that for my nails so I just asked to have the gel nail polish removed and I would leave, and I was charged 65 in total and left with a deeply broken nail that I didn’t come in with and a texture remaining on my nails from poor removal of the gel. They told me they could fix it but that it would cost more. Truly, never go here.

This spot is awesome. If you want the best mani and pedi experience of your life, this is the spot. I look forward to my bi-weekly pampering at Lady Bird. This salon is extremely clean, the atmosphere is relaxing, the staff is professional and nice. Most of all, the end product and the service you get will leave you completely satisfied.

My first experience at this salon went great! I called during the day and the lady who answered the phone was very kind and gave me her expert advice on UV vs Acrylic. I had never tried UV gel before and decided to do it today, after it was recommended. I was also able to get an appointment same day and the nail tech (Pamela?) did an excellent job on my nails :)
