Really saddened about my experience here. I came in for a dye and trim but left with three inches off my length (also maybe one of the worst haircuts of my life) and the dark hair dye ruined the long sleeves of my shirt. I cried most of the night once I got home and felt so guilty that 1.) hellooooo there are worse things happening in the world right now than my bad hair cut and my shirt and 2.) I spent $200 for the services plus the hair dresser’s 20% tip. I couldn’t bear the thought of going back there and having them touch my hair again to try and fix it. I ended up getting my hair corrected the next day by another salon (which cost extra $, of course). I emailed Cult to ask if they would consider a refund (something I felt icky about). This place is the ONLY place in Philly that I will go. It's amazing! A chill vibe where everyone is welcome, incredibly talented stylists, and the music is always on point. They've recently changed ownership and completely revamped the inside. It is chic, luxury, and edgy inside in all the best ways. Most of the stylists specialize in fun color but they also do more traditional colors for those that prefer that. I've been seeing Ali for almost two years and wouldn't let anyone else touch my hair. She's always willing to try new things while also keeping what looks best on me in mind. I love coming here and recommend it to anyone looking for something new.

I am obsessed with this salon! They are extremely professional and have achieved FANTASTIC results every time. I have been going to them for over a year and a half now. I see the owner, Ashlie (@Snowconehead) on IG if you want to check out her work. EVERYONE does a great job. I am a double-process platinum blonde with extensions. So as you can imagine, it is very challenging work! Ashlie is amazing each time I go every other month. I recommend them constantly to everyone I know. Fishtown's finest for sure!

After eagerly waiting for my appointment yesterday I finally got my hair done by the incredibly talented stylist, Ali💕 I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the beautiful corrective color and cut she did transforming my hair. I walked in extremely unhappy with how my hair was and left feeling so beautiful and confident not to mention smelling amazing from the products she used. This was my first time at the studio and the atmosphere was fun and welcoming. Ali spent many hours working with me and was informative and sweet from our consultation all the way to the end of the appointment. Five stars is not enough to rate how wonderful my experience was. I have always done my own hair because of bad experiences getting vivids done at salons in the past, but I decided to give it another chance and come to this studio. Laynee did an amazing job and gave me my favorite hair I’ve ever had. It came out vibrant, healthy and soft, and has lasted so long! I gave her some broad ideas of what I wanted but gave her the freedom to get artistic, and I have absolutely no regrets. Can’t wait to come back and let her do art on my head again.
