I was a recently a first time client for a loc appt to wash, retwist, & style, needless to say I will be returning client!! The atmosphere was nice and peaceful, she was quick all while being precise, and she has a little area for the kiddos! Not to mention the price was affordable.

I’ve been coming to Da Shop for 2 years now and I absolutely love getting my locs done here. Everyone is welcoming and the environment is laid back and comfortable. I love all the girls that work there, they are all professional and knowledgeable yet chill and down to earth.

Before I start this off, I AM A REFERRAL TO THIS PLACE. started my loc journey with D. And to not make this TOO long of a post. She set me up with starter locs. My barber of 11 years gave me a recommendation before lining me up like hey she went a little too close on one side of my head and not the other, my corners are weak. This my first time ever having long hair, in a salon etc. I was unaware of consultations etc etc I didn’t know all the lingos the proper ways to do things. Etc I politely try and set up an appointment, super polite and just not wanting to make a deal of it. she’s like yeah come by. I’m like cool. Arrive at the location, she has an attitude the whole time, she doesn’t want to do it. I stop her, to ask hey is everything good. You wasn’t like this the last time

Diamond did a great job with my retwist and style. She gave me some great advice for moisturizing my locs and I’ve been receiving a lot of compliments from people since Wednesday. It was a great atmosphere and I felt comfortable the entire time. I will return for my next retwist!

Da Shop gives you such a great experience, especially if you have kids. It’s a different take on going to the salon with a variety of services that makes you want to come back. It’s easy to access and very spacious so never feels too crowded. I would definitely come back!
