Danie African Braids

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. She did my hair once before and did a great job. I recommended her to a friend and she also did a great job on her braids. I booked a new appointment with her last week and she offered a “prepaid special.” Because I had my hair done by her previously, I trusted her which was a terrible idea. She scammed me out of my money and has not replied since. She is a thief. I know it’s tempting because there aren’t many braided in AA but she is not trustworthy. Please take your hard earned money elsewhere.

She did such a great job I’m definitely going to be coming back!! Did not disappoint. Edit: She’s done my hair a few times and I was ready to be a very faithful customer to her, but I’d listen to all the other people saying she eventually scams. It sucks bc I’d gone to her 3 times and was pleased and felt I could trust her but after the last times I booked with her she kept canceling the day before and rescheduling for the next day and still rescheduling that. Then one day came that I thought we were finally set on and she never replied to my texts or calls. I sent money for my deposit and everything and tried to get the money back she never replied or gave me my money back. This isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue getting my deposit back from her yet I still trusted her. It seems like

Do not waste your time. I had an appointment at 10am, we agreed to the date and time earlier in the week. I called her and texted her numerous of times before the appointment, nothing. She text me back two hours later asking to move the appointment to 1pm, I said ok. 1pm comes and it’s the same thing, she doesn’t answer my calls or text. The worst thing is I prepaid for a discounted price, I should have never done that. I’ve asked her for a refund, no response. It’s sad. She is untrustworthy and thief. Don’t book with her. The previous reviews are fake.

Run don’t walk hahah Danielle was great! She is very gentle and her work is neat. If you are on class pass she is one of the only black hair services in the Detroit area.
