Daniella Hinshaw

I’ve been getting my hair done by Daniella for nearly three years now, and I can honestly say she's the best hairstylist I have ever had! She's not only incredibly talented at what she does, but she's also a genuinely wonderful person. Her vibe is always relaxed and she is so easy to talk with. Highly recommend! Also, I have to mention Mulder, her doggie, who is just the little cherry on top of a good experience!

I got a first time haircut with Daniella at the end of December and she did a fantastic job. I'd started cutting my own hair during the pandemic after a couple of bad experiences, but I've gotten tired of having mediocre hair. I was determined to find a place in Oakland that I love, and I was happy to have found Daniella through some online sleuthing. I came to the appointment with a few videos and photos of the style I was going for, and I thought she really nailed it. She was also really fun to chat with and the studio she works from is really cute. Her dog was adorable and very friendly and sat in my lap the entire cut, which I loved.

Daniella is the best hairstylist I have ever had…….and as I am 82 do not let that deter you from using her amazing services. She also cuts my daughters looooong hair and my granddaughters looong hair. As you can imagine I have had MANY hairstylists over the years so I feel qualified to leave this review. She is also a great colorist as I have seen on many of her clients. Daniella is THE BEST!!….and Mulder her adorable Chihuahua Is always there to greet you.

Danielle is the absolute best hair stylist! I've been seeing her for a few years now and am so loyal to her. Beyond her hair cutting skills (which are impeccable!) - she is respectful, kind, and genuine. I have never walked away unhappy with my haircut and always with a big smile on my face. Her adorable assistant (her dog, Molder) will even cuddle up on your lap for some extra snuggles. I will never see anyone else.

I absolutely love Daniella's work! She gave me the most beautiful curtain bangs and an amazing balayage that looks so natural and perfectly blended. She really listened to what I wanted, offered great suggestions, and made the whole experience fun and relaxing. I left the salon feeling confident and so happy with my hair. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a stylist who truly knows what they’re doing!
