Daydream Salon

I've gone to Dylan 3 times now and everytime is a GREAT experience!! She listens to my needs, gives honest, thoughtful opinions, and always surpasses my expectations. The new salon is gorgeous and the energy is warm and welcoming! Highly recommend her to anyone with fine/thin hair - she gets us!!

Used to go here. My last appointment had to be cancelled because the owner quite abruptly kicked my stylist out. Was stuck in limbo and had to go to a wedding without my planned cut. I rocked the Jim Halpert for that one. Parking is annoying (all paid, one of the busiest streets in Tacoma). Edit: the owner replying mainly to slam my stylist multiple times is too on the nose. She led him to believe he had a path to staying, then rug pulled him (and his clients). I won't be revising this star rating.

I've been seeing Dylan for years and she is an absolute DREAM. She's made my hair almost every color under the sun and always produces *stunning* results without damage. If you're thinking about trying out some fun new hair, she's so worth it!

Had a wonderful experience visiting Dylan for the first time last week. I was looking specifically for an inclusive, accessible stylist in Tacoma and hit the jackpot with Daydream. Dylan is warm and welcoming and asked great questions about what I was looking for to ensure our style/cut visions were aligned. Dylan made all my hair dreams come true! She is super skilled at cutting hair working with my cowlicks and waves (instead of against!) as well as assessing my desire for low maintenance styling and upkeep. She asked smart questions to understand my vision and transformed my dull process damaged grey and color residue hair into gorgeous and healthy color that embraces my silver streaks and natural coloring while enhancing the contrast. Her knowledge of color chemistry and hair follicle shenanigans impressed me and I felt very safe in her capable hands. If you’re looking for an experienced colorist and stylist, Dylan is the best in the city. Not only is she brilliant she does not let her ego or aesthetic get in the way of her clients needs and desires. I’ve found my new hair stylist for life
