Top notch. Sharon and Carl are very skilled. If you’re a young person and you want your haircut high and tight with a fade, they’re the best. Or if you just get an old school “make it shorter”, they’re the best. They are also very nice and hospitable. You’ll make friends and you’ll be impressed by your haircut. What more could you want from a barber shop?

Sharon and Carl are pros. They’ve been cutting hair for decades and know all the professional tools: hot towels, straight razor, bad jokes, and — above all — super friendly service. Old school: call for an appointment but they will always do their best to squeeze you in. If you’re a tourist in New Orleans, this is an easy, no-brainer walkable spot to get a clean up.

It’s the end of my holiday here in NO, I’ve got a business trip on Monday, and I need a trim. Found this awesome shop on Decatur near Canal and am very pleased; wonderful service and great local treasure! Recommended without reservation!
