Dede's African Hair Braiding

This shop is usually booked but I was able to make an appointment within 3 days before my upcoming appointment time. I went in for box braids and was unsure of how heavy they would be. I was educated on how heavy they would be on my not-so-thick hair and chose micro braids instead. This was my first time getting micro braids. The ladies were quick (5hrs) and as the young kids say “understood the assignment”. The braids were not too tight and as you see in the pics very neat. $190 with hair is an affordable price. The shop was clean. Staff wore masks; yes the entire time. Customers wore masks. Staff also washed their hands between clients. To me that’s sanitary and very professional. Temperature was very comfortable. I will return for another service.

Very unprofessional . Had an appointment at 9 and they overbooked a lot of people for a 9 o’clock appointment with only one braided ! They didn’t start on my hair til bout 2:30 going on 3 ! But never again and this was my first time coming to up here to the Africans I usually go to Griffin Ga , G&A braiding ! I would rate DeeDee a 0 out of 10 do not recommend

I came in and got some cornrows done for the front of my hair. My appointment was at 2pm and I was out of the door by 2:45pm Great service, skilled & fast braiders. Clean and comfortable environment.

I've been to her before in the past, and my daughter has as well. She will try her best to do what you ask. She will even have you send a picture of video of the style you want, but she's not willing to try the newest styles. I guess she's being honest about what she can and cannot do. Prices are on the high side $$

This is the most unprofessional PRICE switching braiding salon I have ever been too. I set my appointment up with the salon owner. She told me how much it would be and told me it would be extra for the length I wanted. The price she quoted included the extra length charge. They don’t have prices posted so I took the OWNER at her word and came prepared. I get to the salon they’re doing my hair and an hour in they change the price saying the owner should have told me because I was taller it would be extra extra length. That was never discussed. I tried to tell them that especially since I talked to the owner and confirmed everything this morning before I went.
