Dee 1 Top Braids

Appt was set for 9am.I left at 9:15-am and Owner-Dee msged me at 9:18 to advise she was at the shop and to come back. Dee stated was was across the street at Publix) Braids in the front are nice, but the back braids ( large parts/ not neat/ not much braiding hair used/ and different lengths) I should have checked the back before leaving, but I was ready to leave. ( didn’t leave until 4pm) I reached out to Dee the next day and she agreed to fix the back. Edit: Dee attempted to fix the back I was there from 9am to approximately 11:40am. Do not recommend this shop for knotless braids! Braider-Dee (owner)

I debated on leaving this review, but felt other people needed to know. First, my appointment was at 8 a.m. but no one arrived to the shop until about 8:30 a.m. and my knotless braids took about 8 hours (at one point there were two people one of which seemed to be an inexperienced braider in my head to which the manager had to instruct/guide her). My braids looked pretty good, but I felt they could have been better/neater considering the price I paid, however I am lenient when it comes to working moms (yes, children were present). I would return, but would hope the service and braids are better.

I was really looking forward to my service because they came highly recommended. The braids were nice, HOWEVER, I had to stop one of the ladies several times because she was literally TEARING out my hair! I have long hair, and instead of going to the ends and detangling as needed, she was ripping it out. She would start at the top and tear through the ends. Jealously, I could tell. Now I have to repair my hair when there braids are out. NEVER AGAIN. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU VALUE YOUR NATURAL HAIR.

I had a great experience! They have a beautiful, spacious shop. I called last minute to come in an get my hair braided for a photo shoot the next day and they made me feel very welcome.

I got my hair braids at the beginning of the year and I must say they were on point! I loved my hair. They were neat, and they weren't too tight. I called and made and appointment, no my husband actually called and made me an appointment and I went in the same day and got my hair braided! They were very professional ! Their shop is spacious and clean! I just took my braids out week ago and I am going in the a.m. to get a new style! My Anniversary is actually coming up and I'm definitely looking forward to them hooking me up!! 🙂
