Detroit Spa Nails

Always professional staff. I never feel that the workers are rude towards the patrons. Clean place. The staff treats people with respect. I try my nails and eyebrows done here. They are really good in the brows.

Went there to get my nails done. Jason messed them up and tried to gaslight me about the problem. First I'll he stated that the oil made my nails look messed up. So I washed my hands, knowing it was not the oil, to satisfy him. Showed him my nails again. He than stated it was the light reflection. It wasn't the case at all. I asked him to fix it he said he'll fix it tomorrow and pay today. I said no, I'm not paying for something I'm not happy with. I asked him why will I pay you for something you don't see a problem with? I than asked when the owner will be here. He stated he's the owner now. I said no you are not. He than stated they are on vacation for two weeks.He than started yelling stating I'm being difficult. He said you must not have money to pay. I pulled out $150.00 and told hi

I'm writing this review to let everyone know who is the owner. His name is Tom, he sits right next to the counter when y'all cash out, he see everything and watching. Jason do have a smart mouth and he going to be the reason why they lose good customers. Tom always has been a great nail tec and hopefully a good owner. But he needs to get them workers who are family members in check.. Hope this helps when making a complaint. Because if Tom is being told about this and do nothing about it. Then Report them to the business association. Too many complaints will shut them down.. They have to learn to respect the community they work in and our black dollars..

Came up there the first time to ask how much was a soak for both acrylic feet and nails. One of the young ladies said $20, then told them I’ll be back the next day or two. Next day I go up there and I do get a soak or my toes but for the nails I can’t remember who did it but it was a guy who literally just started ripping my nails off causing damage to my real ones to the point where they were bleeding and then after charged me $40😑. Never went back since.

I wish that I could leave zero stars. I remember when the services at Detroit Spa Nails were top tier here over 10 years ago. I decided to get my nail services here since I was in the area. This was the worst mistake that I could have made. I ask for a soak off and shellac polish on my toes. The gentleman at the first chair literally ignore my request and decided to cut and tear the acrylic off my toe nails leaving them sore and uneven. Once I realized how bad the outcome was I immediately stopped him and told him that if he could have not perform a soak to avoid tearing my long natural nails that I could had figure it out myself or went to another salon instead of you ruining my natural nails and trying to drill my natural nails and throwing shellac polish on uneven damage nails.
