Diva Nails Spa

I debated on leaving a review or not, but the longer I look at my nails the unhappier I get. I usually go to another salon in town but got a gift card for Christmas to try them out as they’re my friend’s regular place. Since I’ve had these on already I just needed to fill them in and change their color. I don’t know if they’d just had a bad day, stuck me with the new tech, or both. I went in on Tuesday afternoon/evening and they were busy so I had to wait a bit, which isn’t a problem I was a walk in so figured I’d have to wait 30-45 minutes. For starters, they had me sit at one station to wait for a nail teach to come over but then moved me to another station - I’m still fine at this point I assumed who I was waiting on was still working when the woman they sent me to finished up first.

Do not recommend at all. Gosh. What a terrible experience. I actually want to give zero stars. From the nail work to the tech, all of it. I don't even know why I paid the $55 even though when I called they said $45, but I'm mad at myself either way. She left chunks of acrylic missing so you literally saw clear instead of purple, so I asked her to fill it all in (new set) and she got super mad and says to me "well I put clear down first so that's why it's showing" to which I replied, " well, I asked for purple I never asked for any clear so I want my whole nail purple not chunks missing showing the clear". I have been going to Diva for years, YEARS. I started doing my own nails at home as a way to save money. I’ve educated myself, and while I’m not license I am screaming at the top of my lungs DO NOT GO TO THIS NAIL CHOP SHOP!!!! I went with my boyfriend to get a mani/pedi for our anniversary. Treating ourselves for the first time in forever as I’ve been doing my own acrylics. Our pedis went fine, my boyfriend’s cuticles were nipped in a few places but that’s not the big deal. I got a full set of acrylics - and I’m SO disappointed. First, the staff were legit screaming at each other in front of 5 different clients including myself, about a tech taking $10 out of a $15 tip instead of putting it in the pot to be split later. New to the area I stopped in Diva Nails to get my usually S &S Dip powder over my natural nails. I was immediately seated and “Nick” began doing my nails. He moved quickly and without care. His application of the product was extremely sloppy and I asked if he needed to paint it smooth before dipping my nails into the color powder, as the colored powder would only coat the gel polish the way it was painted on. He assured me it would be smooth. I asked for a matte finish and he said it would be an additional $5. As Nick went on applying the gel polish, dipping, and then the top coat, I could see that my nails appeared messier and thick, not smooth or professional at all. The owner is so welcoming! The environment is peaceful, clean, happy and sanitary! The employees all treat each other as family and accommodate your request to the T! As if the place isn't already beautiful enough they are planning a remodel in 2024 starting January 7th 😁 I pray this business continues to thrive because I would NEVER go anywhere else for my nail/ brow care needs !!! Wanted to give 100 stars but well 5 is all it would allow !!!
