The WORST experience I have ever had for a braiding shop. Do not come to shop unless you want to sitting 11 hours for a 6 hour hairstyle. First off, the stylist was late to the appointment. My appointment was at 11am, she didn’t start my hair until 11:45 am. She was gone for almost 2 hours to go pick up her son. On her website the price for the braids I was getting was originally $195, but when I checked her website again while she was “gone” the price was changed to $250!! She took multiple food breaks and tried to continue doing my hair without washing her hands first. Overall, this is the worst braiding shop I have ever went to. Do not come here unless you want your time wasted.

The owner and the hairstylist were so pleasant and professional. I advised the hairstyle I desired with the results spot on. They were very helpful with the selection of hair that I would like for the style I wanted. The salon had all of the products that I've been searching / ordering online. I will be buying my hair care products for her going forward. Thank you, ladies, for a great experience.

Update: it’s not worth going there anymore. The owner is really nice but she doesn’t seem to get the styles right anymore. The last two times I went, she gave me horrible styles that I had to take out the next day which is such a waste of money and time. Old review: Great Salon to get your hair braided! Nice ladies work at the salon and they will make sure that your hairstyle comes out perfect! I highly recommend this salon in providence because they make the best braids and their prices are also the best in providence!

DO NOT go to this salon. Highly unprofessional. Everytime I went there I would leave VERY late and I would call to make an appointment just to sit there for hours. Sarah would still be doing someone else’s hair and have me wait. Then she’d start my hair and go start someone else’s hair at the same time and tried getting someone else to do/finish my hair. I tried to be nice everytime I went but that was the last straw. I got up and left. No thank you. I’m never going back to this salon again.
